Marcos is the EY LATAM Cybersecurity Energy Leader helping clients understand and manage cyber risks to build business trust.

With almost 35 years of experience across sectors, Marcos supports clients in taking an integrated approach to cybersecurity, drawing upon his skills across data compliance, risk, privacy and protection, and digital transformation.

Prior to joining EY, Marcos held senior roles in energy, consulting and Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), where he remains a professor in the MBA program. He holds several pro bono positions across nonprofit, industry and entrepreneurship organizations. Marcos speaks regularly at industry events and is a published author.

Marcos is a master’s student, studying Innovation at HEC Paris. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School and in Negotiation from London School of Economics and Political Science, an MBA in Applied Technology from FGV, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Católica de Petrópolis (UCP).
