Steve Kane is a partner in Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Accounting and Advisory Services group where he serves financial institutions of all types and sizes. He transitioned from a role in the Professional Practice group.  In this role Steve consulted with clients on a variety of technical matters.

From 2011 through 2013 Steve served as a Practice Fellow at the FASB, where he led the FASB staff efforts on the credit impairment project, the derivatives and hedging project and a number of EITF issues.

Steve holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and maintains CPA licenses in Ohio and New York. Both his undergraduate and graduate degrees are from the University of Notre Dame.

EY - Danielle Austin

Danielle Austin is a partner in Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Services Professional Practice group, based in New York. Danielle provides technical assistance on accounting issues, with a particular focus on banking and financial instruments. She supports bank audit teams across the country in the application of accounting and auditing matters.

Prior to her current role, Danielle served as the Acting Deputy Chief Accountant and Professional Accounting Fellow at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Prior to the OCC, Danielle worked in the assurance practice of the EY member firm in Switzerland, as well as in the Ernst & Young LLP assurance practice, providing assurance, regulatory, and  advisory services to some of EY's largest global financial services clients.   

Danielle graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Danielle is a CPA in New York and is a member of the AICPA.

EY - Dom Giuffrida

Dom Guiffrida is a partner in Ernst & Young LLP's Professional Practice group.  His responsibilities focus on the banking industry and include providing accounting, auditing and reporting guidance to financial services engagement teams and clients.  Prior to joining professional practice, Dom spent most of his 20+ years with the firm delivering assurance and advisory services to financial services clients, including leading companies in the banking, asset and wealth management, broker/dealer and asset servicing industries. Dom is a member of the AICPA’s Depository Institution Expert Panel.

Dom's career took him to the EY member firm in Zurich, Switzerland from 2004 through 2011. While in Europe, Dom provided assurance and advisory services to some of the firm's largest global financial services and industrial clients and was a director in the EY Capital Markets group with responsibility for cross-border debt and equity transactions.   

Dom holds an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the State University of New York at Albany.  He is a CPA in New York.

Robert Wadley is a Partner in Ernst & Young LLP’s Professional Practice Group, based in New York. In this role, Robert provides technical assistance to engagement teams and clients on accounting issues, with a particular focus on financial instruments. He currently serves on the FASB’s Credit Loss Transition Resource Group.

Prior to his current role, Robert worked in the firm’s Salt Lake City office leading and managing its assurance banking practice. During this time, he also served as one of the firm's Capital and Liquidity Resources, consulting with engagement teams on accounting and auditing matters related to financial instruments impacted by the economic crisis.

Robert is a CPA in New York, Massachusetts, Texas and Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University.
