Belgium - EY Young Tax Professional of the Year 2023 finalist

Gaétan is the finalist representing Belgium. He is a corporate tax advisor at EY Tax Consultants, where he is engaged in a mix of advisory, compliance and international projects. He received a Master of Laws and Master of Taxation from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a bachelor’s degree in Law from Hasselt University. He is looking to deepen his knowledge in domestic and international taxation, with plans to grow professionally with the EY global organization and, in the process, keep improving himself. On weekdays, he enjoys going to the gym and playing padel with friends or colleagues. On weekends, he likes to spend time with his wife and their border collie.

Participating in the YTPY competition has challenged me, broadened my knowledge, and given me the opportunity to make new connections.
