Helena Noren

Helena works as the EY Nordic Tax Leader with EY EMEIA Financial Services Nordics. She joined EMEIA Financial Services on July 1, 2017 and her current priority is to build a leading practice with a clear focus on the financial industry in the Nordics serving banks, insurers and asset managers. 

Helena’s ambition is to develop the brand as the go-to organization that provides highly integrated cross-service line and cross-country approaches to the issues of financial companies.  

Her technical skills are corporate tax with a focus on financial transactions, financial instruments, tax effects of the transactions in company accounts of companies and tax accounting. 

Helena has been with the organization for 22 years and is proud to be a part of the constant transformation as a contributor and influencer in the life of business. 

She likes challenges and wants to have fun.

How Helena is building a better working world

“I focus on the financial industry which is an absolutely fundamental function in society. It is the bloodstream of business and in our daily life’s. Without it everything would just stop working. Now, it is also completely globally connected which makes it even more useful but also vulnerable, and I want to work with something that is fundamentally important. By being curious, engaged and genuinely interested in people and difficult stuff, I truly believe that I can be part of and contribute to something larger than myself and my immediate community.”
