IASB asks staff to proceed with an Exposure Draft of amendments to IFRS 17.
At the April meeting, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB or the Board) considered, as a whole, the amendments to IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts that it had tentatively proposed at its meetings held between November 2018 and March 2019. The Board agreed that the proposed amendments meet the criteria for evaluating such changes set at its meeting of October 2018 and asked the staff to proceed with preparation of an Exposure Draft with proposed amendments to IFRS 17.
