Ecuador launches new online platform for visa applications and apostille services
On 5 July 2024, the Ecuadorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a platform that enables individuals to access visa and apostille services electronically. The new platform is available to individuals located in any region. They can complete the entire visa application and apostille processes online and do not need to visit an Ecuadorian consulate or embassy to do so (apostille services are available only for documents that can be electronically signed). In certain cases, the immigration authorities may request a virtual appointment with the applicant.
