In view of the current pandemic situation in Hong Kong, the EY Greater China region (EY) today announced that the EY Greater China Charity Foundation (the Foundation) is stepping up its Covid-19 support scheme to donate protective clothing valued at HK$500,000 to the Hong Kong Community Anti-Coronavirus Link. Together with the donation of Covid-19 rapid test kits valued at HK$1 million earlier1, the total donation amount has now reached HK$1.5 million.

The supplies of protective clothing are the second batch of support we source for frontline workers and volunteers, as they help the people affected by the latest wave of the pandemic in Hong Kong.

“In these highly challenging times, unity and faith are particularly important. We believe that our contribution will join forces with the good deeds of various community groups to support Hong Kong in the fight against the pandemic. Together, we will overcome it,” says Jack Chan, EY China Chairman and EY Greater China Regional Managing Partner.
