Tip: Treat your application as a complete package that showcases your skills and experiences.

Submit a separate application for each position of interest. If you don’t find the right opportunity, set up a job alert to be notified when suitable roles become available.

The interview: what to expect

If you’re invited to interview, we’re already impressed. Your interview may be in-person, by phone or on video, to help us determine if we are a good match.

General tips

We lean on behavioral interviewing, which includes open-ended questions that begin with phrases like “Give an example of” or “Describe a situation when.” Answers are measured against these criteria:

  • Did you provide a relevant experience that answers the question?
  • Did you explain what action you took?
  • Did you describe what your action led to?

The interview: be confident, prepared and authentic

Ensure you understand the position and how you’ll fit into our organization. If you’ve worked in a different role or industry, think of your transferable skills and how they relate. Mindset is as important as skill set, so show us how you approach opportunities and challenges.

Most of all, feel confident in who you are. Prepare, take a deep breath and enjoy the experience. Share your skills and personality genuinely.

Bring stories and examples

Real-life anecdotes can showcase your strengths, including challenges you’ve faced and what you’ve learned. These can include experiences you’re most proud of and how they relate to the job.

Make it a two-way process

Use this conversation to explore how we can thrive together. Ask questions that will help you decide if EY is where you want to take your career. We’re proud of our values, culture and benefits, so we’re happy to answer.

Experienced professionals
