Yannis has almost 25 years of assurance and consulting experience, mainly in the transportation and energy & utilities sectors, specializing in serving clients in cross-border capital markets transactions in the international equity and debt markets.
His responsibility as leader of EY’s Advanced Manufacturing (for Assurance)and Mobility Sector (across all service offerings) for the CESA region, is to ensure that EY’s professionals who are focused, or would like to focus, on this sector are well-aligned and have all the tools and contacts necessary to expand and fully utilize their industry knowledge and skills.
Yannis is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece and associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Since 2003, Yannis has been mainly serving clients in their Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in the U.S., and other bond offerings, as well as seasoned U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) shipping registrants. He has also been involved in the majority of the U.S. Shipping IPOs in the Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA) area.
He is a leading member of EY’s Global Shipping Network and the greater Advanced Manufacturing and Mobility team.

In over two decades of service, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of public and private companies operating in the transportation, shipping and energy sectors, including many leading names, in both audit and advisory capacities. My goal is to help clients address complex business and industry issues in a rapidly changing environment, by capitalizing on growth opportunities and optimizing their operations through the use of new and disruptive technologies.
