Andrea has more than 15 years of experience in the Consulting practice. She is specialized in risk management, compliance and internal audit topics and is currently strongly focusing on the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks in risk management and internal audit frameworks. The clients she works with are mainly from the financial services industry and also from the corporate sector.
As part of the EY Virtual Internal Auditor (VIA) core team, Andrea is driving innovation in the way the internal audit function will be defined in the future. She strongly believes in a technologically-advanced internal audit function which generates deep insights and high value to the organization.
Andrea studied Economics at the University of Cologne and holds an MBA from IE Business School. She is also a CFA Charterholder.
Andrea is the Corporate Responsibility (CR) Ambassador for the EY office in Cologne, Germany. In this role, she supports EY teams on global and national EY CR initiatives as well as drives local CR campaigns on ecological and social aspects.
