Alejandro has over 20 years of experience in the areas of monetary policy, capital markets and financial supervision and regulation. Prior to joining Ernst & Young LLP in the FSO Risk Management Advisory practice, he was the senior supervisory officer for the US operations of a large and systemically important foreign banking organization. Prior to his role as a senior supervisor, he was involved in many of the Federal Reserve’s financial crisis management efforts.

Alejandro has an MBA in Finance and an MS in Financial Engineering from New York University in addition to a BS in Economics from Binghamton University.
