April is a seasoned tax and business advisor addressing the increasingly complex needs of multinational organizations, including navigating federal and international tax issues and financial accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) issues. April has provided global tax services to companies in industries including technology, entertainment, manufacturing and retail.

April has also served in leadership roles, most recently as EY Americas Business Tax Leader. Her responsibilities included strategy, execution and operation of various tax service offerings.

Prior to that, she was the Central Region Tax Managing Partner where she was responsible for driving growth and managing 1,800 professionals over 15 states.

She was also previously a member of EY Transaction Advisory Services and served as EY West Region Global Compliance and Reporting Leader.

She received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UC Santa Barbara and an MBT from the University of Southern California.
