Carlos serves a principal in the Insurance & Federal Claims Services practice. The focus of his experience is federal disaster grant management and complex insurance claims. Carlos has assisted clients with the preparation, presentation and settlement of their claims resulting from catastrophic events.

His work includes assisting clients with monitoring, assessments of reimbursement requests, compliance reviews of procurements, development of policies and procedures, and other support related to the requirements from FEMA, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and U.S. Department of Education (USDE).

Throughout his 20-year career, Carlos has had a variety of work experiences, including federal and insurance claims, forensic accounting, fraud investigations and financial statement analyses. He has assisted a diverse range of clients, such as state and local governments, public and private utilities, large manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, construction and financial services entities.
