David is a principal in the Cybersecurity Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP. He serves as partner sponsor for the Americas Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Management capability group, as Global Cyber Threat Intelligence Leader and as Managed Services Executive providing executive oversight for the EY cyber managed and operations services for clients across various sectors.

David brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology with a focus on information security and incident response. Prior to joining Ernst & Young LLP, David led defensive and offensive cyber operations for the Air Force Computer Emergency Response Team (AFCERT) and the forerunner unit of US Cyber Command and later directed advanced threat response operations for the General Electric Computer Incident Response Team (GE-CIRT).

David holds a BS in Economics from the US Air Force Academy, where he graduated with military and academic honors.

David has spent his career defending organizations from nation-state and criminal adversaries and helping clients build the confidence to move faster. He leads EY teams that stand up and run always-on cyber operations for global companies, translating threat intelligence into practical decisions executives can act on. He has personally led cyber transformations for clients across a number of industries and sectors, standing up managed operations that run 24/7 across the US, India, Romania, the Philippines and Poland. A US Air Force veteran, David draws on a mission-first mindset to bring discipline and calm to cyber crises, working shoulder to shoulder with clients so their people, customers and communities can rely on the digital services they depend on every day. His mission is simple: make cybersecurity a source of trust, not friction, in building a better working world.
