Dean Phillips

Dean is the Managing Director in the Advanced Manufacturing and Mobility sector. He advises automotive and manufacturing clients on internet of things (IoT) technologies to develop connected mobility and smart connected product platforms. Additionally, Dean serves as CTO for the EY Nexus suite of sector products.

Dean was the Worldwide Tech Leader for Automotive at a leading cloud hyperscaler where he built a technical field community of 100+ solution architects. He led the development of several solutions including connected mobility, autonomous driving data lake, EV Mobility platform, and co-authored the technical strategy for software defined vehicles. Dean was also the technology spokesperson for press and analyst relations and frequent speaker at conferences around the world.

Dean was recently featured in “Coding the Car,” published in collaboration with QNX and MotorTrend featuring profiles of software innovators from across the industry on the future of mobility and transportation.
