As the EY Americas Corporate Sustainability Leader, Jennifer leads the firm's internal sustainability strategy and reporting in the US.

Jennifer is also a managing director in Ernst & Young LLP’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice, working with clients to define and advance their sustainability strategies.

An accomplished sustainability executive and recognized thought leader, Jennifer has more than 17 years of experience leading sustainability strategy, programs and reporting, including 12 years across two global corporations.

Jennifer was honored by the University of Colorado Denver with the 2025 Business School Alumni Impact Award and named a 2025 Woman of Influence, Consultant/Advisory category, by GlobeSt. She has an MBA and MS in Marketing from the University of Colorado Denver and a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa.

How Jennifer is shaping the future with confidence

Jennifer is committed to educating and supporting the next generation of sustainable business leaders. She serves on both the Board of Advisors and the Sustainable Business Advisory Council at the CU Denver Business School. She established the Jennifer Leitsch Endowed Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarship awards to graduate students studying sustainable business at CU Denver. Additionally, Jennifer developed and teaches Accounting and Finance for Sustainability, a graduate-level elective, twice a year.

Jennifer serves on the board of directors for the United Nations Global Compact Network USA, the local network chapter of the UNGC, as the board secretary and chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee.
