John is an Assurance Partner for Ernst & Young LLP, serving as a strategic advisor for leadership. He is responsible for improving the efficacy of the firm’s operations throughout the Americas and is a senior advisory partner for several of the firm’s global clients.
John was the EY Americas Vice Chair for Assurance from 2019 to 2023, with responsibility for Americas professionals in Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) and Forensic & Integrity Services, driving more than $5 billion in annual revenue.
He previously served as the Assurance Managing Partner for the EY US Southwest Region, which comprised 14 offices across nine states.
John began his career in 1992, joined Ernst & Young LLP in 2002 and became a partner in 2003. He earned a BBA in Accounting from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
