Karan is a managing director in the US Healthcare Investment Banking practice and leads coverage of the Healthcare Technology sector. He has over 15 years of investment banking experience advising public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, debt and equity capital markets, and other strategic advisory transactions. Karan has advised on transactions across a broad spectrum of healthcare companies, including healthcare IT, physician practice management, dental services and hospital outsourcing.
Prior to joining the firm, Karan served as a senior investment banker with a leading healthcare investment bank where he led execution and origination of M&A and capital raising transactions.
Karan holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Maryland and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses.
