Kent Howard

Kent leads the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice for the EY Region of The Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, advising chief financial officers, controllers and treasurers on how to deliver on their agendas. He brings over two decades of global and regional leadership experience advising insurance, reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) companies across all stages of the business lifecycle. He has extensive experience serving global Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants and London Stock Exchange-listed companies. 

Kent serves as a trusted advisor to boards, management teams and sponsors, combining deep technical knowledge and experience, along with regulatory insights, to support complex transactions, statutory and regulatory reporting, finance transformation and high-impact due diligence engagements.

Kent is investing in the next generation of leaders through his role as a student programs leader, helping students build foundational skills and explore careers in professional services. He is committed to fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment where people are empowered to grow and succeed. He is actively engaged in the Bermuda community, supporting Keep Bermuda Beautiful and Relay for Life initiatives. 

Outside of work, Kent coaches youth soccer, creating a positive environment where young athletes can develop teamwork skills, discipline and confidence. Through these efforts, he is committed to building stronger communities and empowering future leaders.
