Lauren has worked in New York, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands serving asset management clients such as hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds, management companies and family offices. She has led global teams of tax professionals on compliance and advisory engagements for clients ranging from emerging managers to large institutional fund complexes.
Lauren’s technical experience includes fund structuring, partnership taxation, securities tax analysis, aggregation rules, domestic and international reporting, and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) compliance. She serves as the tax account lead for clients on the global EY Emerging Manager Platform, advising newly launched investment managers on tax issues. Lauren has led internal training initiatives and contributes to EY thought leadership on tax matters impacting the asset management industry.
Lauren holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is a CPA in New York.
