Michael is a part of Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS). His primary background is with commodity trading organizations, including renewable energy, carbon and other environmental attributes.
Michael provides technical accounting knowledge for commodities. He helps drive process improvement in middle office and risk management functions and assists with business process, regulatory, and technology for commodity trading, marketing and procurement organizations. He supports clients through a deep understanding of the risk management infrastructure, controls and analytics that facilitate appropriate risk measurement and through monitoring the energy, utility, refined products, chemical and natural gas liquids industries.
