Mike leads the AI and Data offerings for the EY Power & Utilities sector. With over 25 years of consulting experience, he has delivered professional services to almost every department within a utility, gaining insights into the business issues that impact risk and performance. He has presented at several industry conferences and authors the EY Power & Utility Data Governance survey. He is a named inventor in a patent-pending outage predictions application. 

Mike has helped develop the firm’s agile analytics delivery methods and has led numerous data and analytics engagements to support broader transformation programs. His experiences span the full data lifecycle, including data strategy, modern data platform, data quality and governance, and increasing analytics consumption across the utility value chain.

Mike earned bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Albion College, an MBA from Michigan State University, and he has completed executive education at Harvard and Northwestern University.

Mike has served on four nonprofit boards over the span of his career. Mike leverages his extensive consulting experiences and invests his time mentoring, coaching and sponsoring EY individuals from all backgrounds, empowering them to reach their full potential.
