Nihar is a principal in Strategy & Transactions at EY-Parthenon. Over the last 20 years, he has advised several consumer and retail, industrial, and life science companies on strategic growth, margin improvement, operational turnaround and restructuring opportunities.
Nihar recently advised a company in developing a strategy to drive 20% improvement in its operating margins and 30% reduction in inventory by optimizing its supply chain. The company was able to better meet global customer demand, and boost resiliency to geopolitical and product availability risks. He is currently leading a supply chain disentanglement and readiness effort for a three-way spin of a large global industrial company with operations in over 90 countries, including the separation of multiple heavily entangled manufacturing facilities.
Nihar earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India; his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware; and his MBA from the University of Michigan.
How Nihar is building a better working world
Recent geopolitical and macroeconomic events have re-emphasized the importance of a robust supply chain that enables companies to meet the needs of their customers while working closely with their suppliers and driving value for their investors. I work passionately to help our clients have resilient, sustainable supply chains and build a better working world for their stakeholders.
