Steve is a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP and works at the convergence of compliance, transformation and controversy.

He has over 30 years of tax and finance experience working in international environment across in-house and professional services roles. Prior to rejoining the global EY organization 10 years ago, Steve spent 11 years in senior roles in the tax and finance function at a global technology company.

Steve works with clients across sectors as they define their future tax operating models, usually against a backdrop of finance transformation. He helps them navigate key design considerations to confidently determine an optimal people mix across insourcing, cosourcing and outsourcing, always seeking to leverage leading practices on process, technology and AI.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Western Australia. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant in Australia and the UK and a Chartered Tax Advisor in the UK.
