Tom is the EY Global Financial Crimes Managed Services Leader, focused on bringing innovative solutions to help EY clients manage their financial crimes compliance operations and technology programs.
Prior to joining the global EY organization, Tom served in the US Navy for seven years as a surface warfare officer in various leadership, management and maritime operations positions, often in highly complex environments.
Tom holds master’s degrees from the University of Maryland and the US Naval War College, as well as a bachelor’s degree from the George Washington University.

With extensive experience in anti-money laundering, sanctions, counterterrorist financing and fraud engagements at financial institutions around the globe, Tom combines deep insight with decisive leadership to drive meaningful outcomes for clients.
He frequently speaks on emerging trends in financial crime compliance at industry conferences and events.
Additionally, Tom leads the EY organization’s Veterans Network in the New York City area, a professional resource network that connects and supports veterans across our organization.
