Tommy Brown is a member of the Washington Council Ernst & Young (WCEY) practice, where he provides guidance on legislative strategy and engagement on tax and energy policy.

Prior to joining WCEY, Tommy served as Senior Advisor for Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Treasury, where he managed congressional relations, legislative strategy and engagement on tax issues. Tommy spent more than a decade on Capitol Hill where he served as Legislative Director and principal tax policy advisor for Ways & Means Committee member Rep. Brad Schneider (D-IL). He started his career with Senate Finance Committee member Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH).

Tommy received a BA from Kenyon College.
