Matt is a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Organization (FSO) Strategy and Transactions practice of Ernst & Young LLP. He helps financial services firms achieve performance objectives via advanced risk measurement, credit ratings and market intelligence for loan portfolio management and strategic corporate actions.

His approach to diagnosing challenges and problem solving is grounded in his early career as an engineering officer in the US Navy submarine fleet. Matt’s two decades of experience since then, as a ratings analyst, lender and banker distinguish him as an innovative, pragmatic, and technically detailed advisor.  

Matt holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Applied Physics from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).
