Julie is responsible for driving market leadership, developing and retaining talent, creating high-performing teams and instilling exceptional client service in a practice of more than 16,000 professionals with nearly $4.5 billion in revenue. She also serves as a senior consulting partner for many of our largest clients in the consumer, health care and manufacturing industries. She is a member of the US Executive Committee, the Americas Operating Executive, the Global Practice Group and the Global Accounts Committee.
Julie has more than 30 years of experience. She began her career as a CPA in the Audit practice of another Big Four firm, then worked at two global investment banks before holding CFO roles at both public and private companies.
Julie earned an MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Business and Accounting from the University of Vermont. She lives in the Greater Cleveland area with her husband, John Gannon, and their four children.

In her role as US-Central Region Managing Partner, she’s focused on engaging Ernst & Young LLP people and clients in adapting to a changing workplace and adopting the growth mindset needed to thrive in the Transformative Age.
Her affiliations include current positions as Vice Chair of Destination Cleveland, a board member of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, United Way Philanthropist Society and The 50 Club of Cleveland. She also has held civic leadership roles with the Achievement Centers for Children and the United Way of Greater Cleveland and is a founding member of In Counsel with Women. A graduate of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2006, she has been recognized as a YWCA Woman of Achievement, in Crain’s 40 Under 40 and as the 2018 Mayo Person of the Year by the Mayo Society of Greater Cleveland.
