Dr. Detmar Ordemann

Detmar is the EY EMEIA Assurance Innovation and Digital Leader. In his role, Detmar is responsible for integrating innovation and digitalization across EMEIA Assurance by focusing on driving and coordinating innovations, accelerating and industrializing digital transformation across different markets.

Most recently, Detmar served as the EY Global Innovation Leader in Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), where he combined the business needs of finance organizations with deep subject matter knowledge on accounting, mathematical and technology topics.

After joining EY in 1994 to work with the Professional Practice Group, Detmar spent time as a leader for the Financial Services Organization Advisory team. He serves as an executive on a number of audit and advisory-type engagements ranging from mid-market to large multi-nationals.

Detmar earned a degree in Business Mathematics and a doctorate in Knowledge Management from the University of Ulm. He is a German Certified Public Auditor (Wirtschaftsprüfer), and a German Tax Advisor (Steuerberater).
