As EY Americas Assurance Deputy Vice Chair, Bill oversees a $5 billion business and is responsible for all aspects of the Americas Assurance strategy, including growth, quality, risk, talent, operations, brand and culture.
Prior to his current role, he was Houston office managing partner from 2017 to 2020, leading office’s of nearly 1,800 employees and partners, cultivating an inclusive culture of high performance and competing in the market to deliver the firm’s full capabilities.
Bill also previously served as the presiding partner for the Americas Advisory Council and US Partner/Principal Council and as a member of the EY Global Governance Council and the EY Global Firm Audit Committee.
He has worked with numerous large companies on complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, debt and equity issuances, equity method investments and IT system conversions.
He holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University.
