Jess is a National Tax senior manager focusing on US state and local taxation. In her current role, she provides thought leadership and technical assistance through the global EY network, helping companies navigate the complexities of state tax policy.

Throughout her career, Jess has collaborated with businesses as they plan for the state tax and accounting impacts of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and corporate reorganizations. Her experience allows her to assist companies in aligning their tax profiles with strategic business objectives.

For businesses new to the US, Jess has advised on the tax implications of US legal entity formation and commercial domicile establishment. She provides guidance to expanding businesses, focusing on taxability, application of international tax treaties and state audit support.

Jess completed her undergraduate education at the College of William and Mary and holds an MS in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
