DiversityInc’s Top 50 Hall of Fame
Ernst & Young LLP was inducted into DiversityInc magazine’s Top 50 Hall of Fame in 2018, and we maintained this status in 2019. The Hall of Fame honors companies that have demonstrated a longstanding and consistent commitment to diversity and inclusion. It features companies that have achieved a No. 1 ranking on the publication’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity list since 2012 and stands above the Top 50 List. Future No. 1 companies will all be added to the Hall of Fame. In order to maintain one’s Hall of Fame status, companies will be re–evaluated annually in the Top 50 competition, which considers metrics such as hiring, retaining and promoting women, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, LGBT people and veterans. EY was also recognized on the following 2019 specialty lists:

For the 21st consecutive year, Ernst & Young LLP appears on FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list.
Military Times’ Best for Vets: Employers 2019
In support of our ongoing commitment to providing valuable opportunities to our country’s veterans, we are honored to be recognized by the Military Times on the publication’s rankings of Best for Vets: Employers 2019.
National Association for Female Executives’ (NAFE) Top Companies for Executive Women
Ernst & Young LLP has been named one of the 2019 “Top Companies for Executive Women” by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), which honors American corporations that identify and promote successful women. 2019 marks EY’s sixth year on NAFE’s list.
Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index
Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) has again received a 100% rating on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for 2019, designating EY US as a “Best Place to Work for LGBT+ Equality.” The CEI evaluates LGBT+ related policies and practices, including non-discrimination workplace protections, trans-inclusive policies, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBT+ community. Our 100% score reflects our active support of an inclusive workplace for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
Working Mother’s Best companies for Multicultural women
Ernst & Young LLP gained a place on Working Mother Media’s exclusive list of 50 organizations, which recognizes our focus on sponsorship and mentoring, as well as the opportunities for diverse staff to build relationships and career momentum.
Diversity Best Practices Top 10 Inclusion Index
Ernst & Young LLP has been recognized for the third year in a row on the Diversity Best Practices Inclusion Index, acknowledging our best-in-class diversity and inclusion practices in recruitment, retention and advancement; company culture; and demographics/transparency.
National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Company of the Year
This award recognizes our commitment to employing diverse professionals in positions of prominence, our innovative employee programs promoting the advancement of minorities, and our ongoing support of diverse community and organization initiatives.
Disability Equality Index Top Score
Ernst & Young LLP achieved the highest possible score (100) on this comprehensive assessment tool, a joint initiative of Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), which benchmarks the disability inclusion policies and practices of companies around the country.
Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law’s Corporation of the Year
Ernst & Young LLP was recognized as Corporation of the Year by the Judge David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, which advocates for the civil rights, full inclusion and equality of adults and children with mental disabilities.
People magazine’s “50 Companies That Care”
People magazine and the Great Place to Work® Institute have ranked Ernst & Young LLP on the 2019 “50 Companies That Care” list. We also appeared on this list in 2017.

For the fourth consecutive year, the EY organization placed on the Great Place to Work® list of 25 World’s Best Workplaces. The EY network of member firms has been named the world’s most attractive professional services organization for the third consecutive year — and the third most attractive employer overall — in Universum’s 2018 annual “World’s Most Attractive Employers” ranking. Universum’s 2018 ranking is based on a survey of more than 228,910 business, engineering and IT students from the top academic institutions across 12 of the world’s largest economies.

Ernst & Young LLP has been named the #1 organization for diversity and inclusiveness by DiversityInc magazine on its 2017 Top 50 Companies for Diversity list. This important recognition is a direct reflection of our ongoing approach to and relentless focus on building an inclusive culture in which all of our people feel they belong. The 2017 list is the first time at the top of this ranking, our ninth consecutive year appearing in the top 10 and fourteenth time on the list since its inception.

Ernst & Young LLP received a Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award, recognizing the Best Places to Work in 2015. The Employees' Choice Awards program relies solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor's anonymous online company reviews survey.
US Universum Undergrad Overall IDEAL™ Employer Survey
Accounting students ranked Ernst & Young LLP No. 1 in accounting for the eighth consecutive year, and business students ranked the firm No. 6 in business.
ERE Recruiting Excellence Awards
The award recognizes companies that excel at developing and implementing recruiting, branding and retention programs. The sponsor, ERE Media, provides online information and networking opportunities for recruiters and HR professionals. Ernst & Young LLP won the award for Best College Recruiting Program, and was the only firm among the Big Four to be honored.
