Brooks drives AI-powered software-as-a-service (SaaS) and managed services for the Indirect Tax practice, focused on transforming how clients approach compliance and advisory through agentic AI solutions. His work includes leading the rollout of Notice Agent, EY.ai for Tax, an agent-led SaaS offering for end-to-end notice management and advancing a portfolio of AI agents supporting return automation, reconciliation, audit defense and predictive planning.
He has nearly two decades of experience advising large, multinational organizations on indirect and state and local tax matters. He has led large-scale indirect tax engagements, including look-back reviews, restructurings, integrations, provisions, nexus and sourcing analyses, controversy matters and managed services solutions.
Brooks has a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University. He is a CPA licensed in Georgia.
