Hitoshi is our Japan Assurance Leader, serving on the Global Assurance Executive Committee overseeing compliance with our quality control system for the service line’s performance. He has been with us for close to three decades and became a partner in 2003.
Hitoshi has experience with conducting assessments of service quality, interviewing key executives and audit committee members of our Global 360 and other priority accounts.
He also has been engaged in the audits of a diverse range of companies in Japan. Over the years he has served as the deputy Director for Professional Practice in Japan, the EMEIA Japan Business Services Assurance Leader based in London and a member of Accounting Principles Committee (JICPA) for consolidation, revenue recognition and IFRS
Hitoshi graduated from Keio University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
