Rick is a Tax Principal with Ernst & Young LLP based in Washington, DC National Tax office. As part of the Financial Services Organization, Rick provides deep insurance company and insurance product tax experience gained over a career that now spans nearly 30 years. In addition to serving as the Tax and Finance Operate Leader for Insurance, Rick is the Tax Market Segment Leader for Metro New York Insurance and leads the EY Life Insurance sub-sector.
Throughout his career, Rick has advised some of the world's largest insurance companies on matters involving tax technical and operational matters. This has included clients in all sectors of the insurance industry, including the life, property and casualty, and reinsurance arenas.
Rick received his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law, earned his JD from the Boston University School of Law and his MBA from the Boston University Graduate School of Management.
