Amar is a senior analyst within EY Americas Knowledge and provides thought leadership and business insights for the firm’s clients and stakeholders.
Prior to joining the firm, Amar was a principal economic analyst for the New York State Comptroller’s Office. His previous roles were primarily on Wall Street as a portfolio manager at a number of hedge funds. Amar also was Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management for a Saudi-based investment firm and was ranked by Institutional Investor as a sell-side analyst covering FinTech.
Amar has a BS from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
