Christian joined EY in 2005. In 2010 he qualified for Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certification in Control Self Assessment (CCSA), as well as Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) in 2012.
In this time, he has performed various projects in the financial services sector (banks, insurance companies, asset managers and multi-client service providers), especially with regards to the set-up, further development and performance of internal audit functions and audits.
Christian has also been involved in numerous consulting projects in the areas of out- and in-sourcing, risk management, non-financial risk, compliance and governance issues as well as the transformation of internal control systems. In addition, he focuses on the overarching as well as efficient implementation of regulatory requirements within the three lines of defense.
As part of EY's Virtual Internal Auditor (VIA) team, Christian represents the Financial Services industry with their special legal and regulatory requirements.
