Gerard leads the EY organization’s global market-facing sustainability strategy, working with clients to address complex sustainability challenges through data, science and technology. He brings together cross-functional EY teams and strategic alliances to help organizations take measurable, business-driven actions that provide long-term sustainable value.

Gerard serves on the EY Global Client & Industries Executive and plays an active role as a senior Global Client Service Partner in the Industrials and Energy sectors. Previously, he was the EY MENA Consulting Regional Managing Partner and EY EMEIA Energy Industry Leader.

With degrees in Engineering and Science from Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh, Gerard brings more than 25 years of experience in energy and infrastructure, spanning field engineering and management consulting.
