Ronald van den Brekel

With 30 years of experience in various areas of taxation, Ronald is EY Global TP Market and Innovation Leader. He supports clients in multiple industries including oil and gas, consumer products, technology and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining EY in 2010, Ronald served as Chair of the Dutch tax administration Belastingdienst’s Transfer Pricing Coordination Group, and has over 20 years of experience in tax administration in the Netherlands. Ronald has also worked as tax inspector, tax auditor, project manager and policy adviser for large enterprises.

Additionally, Ronald has been representing EY in discussions on transfer pricing at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and he is a lecturer at the University of Leiden and the University of Rotterdam.

Ronald earned a master’s degree in Fiscal Economics from Tilburg University.
