Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith is the EY Americas Financial Services Leader, overseeing the Banking and Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management, and Insurance sectors. In this role, he leads a practice encompassing more than 14,000 professionals across 75 offices.

Shawn is a recognized industry leader known for driving success and delivering transformative results. Throughout his 30-year career, he has helped companies through his deep experience with technology platforms, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and digital currency. Additionally, his approach to Managed Services and development of innovative workforce models has made him a trusted voice in the financial services landscape.

Shawn has held several leadership roles at EY and led as a strategic advisor on several of the US firm’s largest accounts. He also served on a global leadership team building and scaling technology solutions that are still used within our business today.
