Effective 13 May 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (HCMC DOLISA) implemented shortened processing timelines for certain work authorization applications filed in Ho Chi Minh City. The HCMC DOLISA recently issued Decision No.10593/TB-SLDTBXH-VLATLD (i.e., Decision 10593), announcing revised timelines for processing the following applications (i) work permit reissuance: two working days (down from three working days previously); (ii) work permit extension: three working days (down from five working days previously); and (iii) certificate of work permit exemption: three working days (down from five working days previously).
