As CEO and Co-Founder of Northvolt, a producer of sustainable lithium ion batteries, Peter is determined to set a new benchmark for sustainability in the battery industry. 

Since the company was founded in 2016, Northvolt has become a European leader in battery production. The company employs over 4,500 people from more than 110 nations, and it partners with leading premium automotive manufacturers and industry players. 

Today, Northvolt is delivering cells with the lowest environmental footprint in the world from its first gigafactory, Northvolt Ett, in northern Sweden. And in a quest to close the loop on battery manufacturing, Northvolt has established battery recycling alongside its manufacturing process through its in-house recycling group, Revolt.
