Alex is an audit partner and serves as the EY Americas Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications (TMT) Assurance Leader. In this capacity, he leads a team of audit, tax, advisory and transactions professionals dedicated to serving high growth TMT businesses located in the US. He advises clients on accounting and reporting matters related to new business models, acquisitions, revenue recognition, restructurings, debt offerings, leasing, tax matters, and contingencies, as well as dealing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Prior to this role, he led the Bay Area Technology practice. He also served on the AICPA Software Task Force related to ASC 606. Alex joined EY in 1994.
Alex was awarded his BS in Accounting at the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
