Poland has been successful in improving its business environment over the past decade as evidenced by its move up in international rankings comparing countries in terms of competitiveness and ease of doing business (e.g. Global Competitiveness Report – 36 rank, World Bank’s Doing Business – 24 rank). This improvement is reflected in recognition of Poland as one of the top prospective location for foreign investors (not only in the CEE region but in Europe as a whole) and continuous inflows of foreign capital into Poland.

It confirms the prediction of the last survey when investors indicated that Poland would be the best place to invest just after Germany, UK, France and the Netherlands. It is really promising since the perception has not always been supported by the figures and real investment projects.
